Glimpsing toothy smiles, listening to the sound of hysterical giggles and learning to decipher fragments of first words, the first year of your baby’s life is full of sincere goodness! Experimenting with new foods and watching those first wobbly steps, it’s an amazing year full of growth and wonder. Not just for babies, but for us as parents too. These are honest moments we only get to live once.
I photographed this sweet family when Lauren was pregnant, baby Lucy was just a tiny newborn and this session, just after Lucy turned one year. There is nothing I love more than seeing your babies grow and having the opportunity to share in these experiences with you!
There is something about babies in a garden that I cannot get enough of! They love to explore. It’s true, they also may pull out some of your plant babies, but it’s all from a place of immense curiosity. I really adore observing children as they become interested in plants, dirt and growing. They may just be touching all the new things they are soaking in, but the hippie in me shines bright as I recognize our future generations nurturing a little space for nature!
