We’ve all heard it…photography is a luxury. So it should also feel like a luxury. This is exactly why I offer full service family photography. I celebrate modern mothers with beautiful, light filled heirlooms to adorn their homes. I am here every step of the way to make sure you feel comfortable, relaxed and prepared for your session. Your only job during your session is to be fully present. I will make sure your look beautiful and natural.

As a mother of 3, I know what it is like to envision and actually plan a photo session with my family. I have had many experiences, often rushed and leaving me feeling exhausted, rather than enlivened or celebrated. I created a beautiful experience for mothers to make this one hour, a time to relax and be present with the ones you love the most. The anxiety ridden mama who has gotten everyone else clothed, fed, brushed hair and is now rushing to get herself photo ready, is not us at our best. Smiling behind gritted teeth, knowing your are sweating your makeup off because of the stress is not how we want to remember this season with our families. I’ve been there and I’ve done it. Guess what, I found a better way!

Whether you are expecting your first baby, or a mother of several young children, this season you are in is meaningful and special. I will document that for you honestly and authentically, while you feel loved and celebrated.

Experience the Difference

We begin our experience together with a consultation call. We will discuss what season of life you are in, what you are drawn to when you look at a photograph and what you hope to see and feel in your family’s images. We will talk about how you plan to display your images in your home. Maybe you want to see your favorite memories hanging on the wall as you walk down the stairs each morning (a favorite in our home!). Perhaps, albums have your heart as you imagine your babies curled in your lap as you flip through your heirloom album together.

I take care of putting together a cohesive wardrobe and hair & makeup so you know you look great and can can focus on loving on your family. Prior to our session, we have a planning call to determine the perfect location for your portrait goals and discuss a wardrobe for you and your family that will provide a cohesive look. When considering a location for your photo session, I recommend a place that is meaningful for you as a couple or as a family, the intimate and cozy space of your home, one of the many gorgeous locations around the Orlando area or the natural light studio. As we move into the aesthetic of your session, we will determine how you want your session to feel. Do you want something relaxed and cozy? Perhaps you want to embrace the fun and carefree side of your family. Or maybe you want something intimate, yet elevated. We will consider the vibe and determine the wardrobe that will accentuate that feel.

For your family session, you are welcome to borrow from the many timeless and flattering pieces I have in my client wardrobe (I have adorable items for the kids, too!) so no need to even step foot in a store. You will be pampered with professional hair and makeup so you don’t have to worry about dropping the curling iron to corral your children while trying to get ready.

During your session, I will set you up in the most flattering light available and provide lots of direction so you feel confident and comfortable, while enjoying your time together. This is a short window of time with no calls, no texts, no distractions, purely being present with your family. We will capture beautiful moments together. This time is built in time just for your family and you deserve it. Savor it and relax, everything is going to be great!

Our time together doesn’t end after we meet for your session. We will also print your pictures in the most beautiful ways. With linen & velvet covered fine art albums and museum quality prints that are custom matted and framed to adorn your home, you and your family will enjoy your photos for decades.

The best part about this is that it is DONE! You have timeless memories and custom art, featuring your favorite moments with your family bound in an elegant book and hanging on the walls. These are the memories your children will pass by each day as they walk through the house, reminded of how loved they truly are. These are the photos you see each day, that put a little smile on your face, even when things feel hectic! Slow down and get your library of albums out one evening to snuggle and reminisce together. The first year of your baby’s life is a whirlwind. Allow me to make one thing simple for you! Join the Signature Membership and breathe a sigh of relief, knowing you have every milestone covered. From your growing baby bump, that tiny newborn stage, the smiley 6 month sitter, to family photos with your one year old, you’ll have beautiful memories to look back upon from each season! 

Simply enroll in the Signature Membership and receive all of the benefits of the luxury experience for each session. The membership includes 2-4 sessions within an 18 month time period. This is perfect for all your milestone sessions such as: maternity, newborn, 6 month/sitter, 1 year and 18 month old portraits.

Artwork and digital files are selected after you view your images, so you are only purchasing what you love for each session!

Most of our expecting clients reach out toward the end of their first trimester and book their session or membership near the beginning of their second trimester.
