The transformation of the female body to create new life is an absolute miracle. I will never tire of documenting such beauty. It may not feel so wonderful as our bodies stretch and pull and expand, but we are quite literally, growing another human. What a humbling gift and an immense responsibility to reconcile. It’s true that life is never quite the same after you have a child. Somehow, through the hard, uncomfortable, and exhaustion, an evolution of nurturing, patience and abysmal love breaks our hearts wide open. It becomes unfathomable to remember what life was like before this other heart was beating with our own.
This gorgeous maternity session with the radiant mother to be below was photographed at the Brand Studio in Orlando, FL and is one of my favorite shoots to date. That seems to happen when we try something new, doesn’t it?! We wanted something a that felt editorial, with a hint of boudoir. This season doesn’t always feel amazing, but wow, does Natalie look stunning!! There is so much truth to the pregnancy glow phenomenon and I am here for it!
